About me

DoomDivider is a Graphic/Poster Illustrator and Video Editor who takes inspiration from the weird and uncomfortable. I am often multifaceted, being well versed in blender and unreal engines. My poster work focuses on a greater message that I hope the audience can pick up and make their own. While my video editing gears towards the fun and upbeat side of my artistic versatility. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Doom realized their love for the arts and their adjacent forms. Doom’s first love was video games and as I grew, I knew that I wanted to do something artistic. Right now, the project that I am working on is a poster/collage that should challenge how the audience perceives their surroundings, from surveillance to the people who make it their mission to be voyeurs. This style will be one that should make you uncomfortable and uneasy. My influences come from directors such as the late David Lynch and Hideki Kamiya who directed the Devil May Cry video game series. Those styles often mix and match, in my posters Lynch might make more of an impression while my edits feel grungier in its music and visual choices similar to Devil May Cry. When I am not working on projects, I love watching films and playing video games. Often playing games that are most like the movies I watch (shout out to Kojima). As of late my game of choice is Resident Evil: Requiem, and a film of choice is Deathproof by Quintion Tarantino. You can check out my artstation here:https://saxibis.artstation.com
